This two-day, classroom-based course has been designed specifically
for operators of reciprocating compressors. Generic in nature, this course offers operators familiarization with major components that comprise a compressor and will offer insight into the theory of compression as it relates to operational issues. Typical compressor
systems such as frame lubrication, cylinder lubrication, cooling, process gas, capacity control, buffer gas, and other utilities will be addressed so that the operator may understand the purpose and function of each. The course will wind up with an interactive troubleshooting
session designed to help the operators identify possible causes of typical compressor upsets. |
