This four-day course is based on
a vertically split 451B Line compressor and a 1M
horizontally split compressor. After pre-strip procedures,
the compressor is completely dismantled and rebuilt using
the following procedures: removal of bearings; hydraulic
thrust disc; seals - oil film and dry gas; bundle rotor;
internal clearance inspection and rebuild. Maintenance and
special tooling are discussed in detail. |
